Who am I?

Hello! I’m Fish, y’know, the one with the curiosity and the bowl. So now you’re here, maybe we can talk about me for a moment.

You see; In any piece of writing about the real world I think it is important to understand the author, even if it is just a little. By knowing a bit about the person putting down the prose you can figure out how they differ to you, where their biases are and you can correct for that; especially in opinion pieces and reviews. To that end I’m hoping I can explain myself a little here, so when I go ranting and raving you can understand where I’m coming from. In the broadest sense I’m just going to throw words at you like meta tags and hope you get the idea. so here we go…

I am a Christian Scottish person living in England with a massive interest in Japan. I am a geek in the more old school sense of the term; I am a software engineer who’s spare time is taken up with anime, computer games and tinkering with computers.

There are certainly more biases to lay out here, but I think I’ll explore them when I come to write about them.
